Again this year, Sophienholm is part of CopenPay – Copenhagen’s initiative that rewards good deeds with unique experiences. As part of the initiative, we invite you to take the most beautiful and greenest trip to art by choosing environmentally friendly transportation when you visit Sophienholm, or choosing to eat a vegetarian meal in Sophienholm Café.
All you have to do is take the S-train to Sorgenfri, Lyngby or Bagsværd St. and enjoy either a beautiful walk or bike ride to Sophienholm. Show us a picture from your trip when you arrive – and receive an art postcard from the exhibition Laboratory for Nostalgia as a thank you for your environmentally conscious action.
You can also choose to order a vegetarian dish, such as Croquette, in Sophienholm Café. Just show us your receipt at the art exhibitions ticket office, and you can freely choose one postcard.
At the art exhibition you can experience the Laboratory for Nostalgia with works by nine Danish contemporary artists. Through works that show different aspects of feelings for the lost, the exhibition is a look at how contemporary art relates to the nostalgia that characterizes our time.
